New Release: HERE THERE BE DRAGONS

HERE THERE BE DRAGONS, Sunscapes Trilogy 2
(scifi romance by Michelle O'Leary & The Wild Rose Press)
I'm so excited to bring to readers this second installment in the Sunscapes Trilogy! This is a revised edition from the original, with some new material but the same basic storyline. Happy Reading!

~Excerpt: Fairytale Prince~
Cassie slipped her arm through his, trying not to lean into his heat and strength. Grateful for his steady presence, she again became aware of all the staring faces. She also couldn’t remember the last time she’d tottered around in high heels. The cursed things were like negotiating through a constant earthquake. Any second now she was going to take a header and do a face-plant on this shiny wood floor. Wouldn’t that give their audience a show?

"At least they’re not laughing and pointing, yet,” she muttered, watching for the next pitch and roll of the floor.

“You mean at the clown on the arm of the most gorgeous woman in the room?”

She flashed Nick a disbelieving glance, then continued her surveillance of the deceptive surface under her wobbling ankles. “I think they’re taking bets on how soon I trip and fall on my face.”

“My credit’s on five minutes.” His voice was warm with humor.

Cassie stopped in her tracks, a strange pain lodging just under her ribs. She didn’t raise her head, gaze fixed on the floor in front of her feet. “Please don’t make fun of me,” she whispered.

His arm tightened on hers for a second. Then he shocked her speechless by sinking down to kneel in front of her. Settling back on his heels with hands resting on thighs, he lifted his gaze to hers, expression solemn. “I wasn’t making fun, Cass. I’m just worried about you. Those shoes are dangerous. Would you let me take them off?”

Her body reacted as if he’d just asked to strip her naked.

~Blurb~
Nick Givliani, inspector for the FPA, is investigating the Shays. He discovers their employee Cassie Draegen is more than she seems. Brilliant, inventive, and much too sexy for his peace of mind, she becomes his top suspect. He needs to find out what she’s up to before it’s too late.

As the Shays’ resident genius, Cassie is their secret weapon. Her work is at a critical stage and the last thing she needs is an FPA inspector breathing down her neck. Avoiding Nick would be the smart thing to do, but he’s as persistent as he is gorgeous. If she’s not careful, his relentless pursuit and her growing attraction might upset all their plans.

As Nick draws closer to the truth, intrigue and desire bind them together in a complicated knot. Will Cassie be able to complete her work with the Shays, or will Nick bring it crashing down upon their heads?

New Release: LAST CHANCE

I'm thrilled to announce the release of my scifi romance, Last Chance, Sunscapes Trilogy 1, from The Wild Rose Press! This story was revised and edited, so this release is a new edition of the book. Though the storyline remains the same, there is some new content and a much more polished reading experience. I hope readers enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

~Excerpt: Slow Seduction~

Should’ve hit him a few more times,” he muttered with a spark of grim violence in his eyes, but his touch was infinitely gentle, his thumb brushing over the abused flesh.

Well, I would have, but you knocked him out,” she said, trying for a light tone, but a shiver of yearning ruffled the sound.

His expression lightened, a fleeting smile passing over his mouth, but he didn’t lift his gaze. His thumb made soothing, mesmerizing passes over her skin. “How bad does it hurt?”

“Not bad,” she whispered as his thumb skimmed her lip, leaving behind a tingling line.

He hummed, leaning toward her with a faint, absorbed frown. “Maybe we should put ice on it.”

The words barely registered. She watched with her breath caught in her throat as he bent his head to hers. He moved slow, giving her time to pull away, but Sin went still with the effort not to lean into his touch and turn her mouth to his like a supplicant.
